May and the Festival are here again...
May and the Festival are here again….we have a fabulous collection of Guy Funnel’s paintings. His subject Burling Gap is close to all our hearts. His paintings are a reminder of the simple pleasure we take in walking along the Sussex coastline during the balmy days of summer. The texture and colour of his paintings capture perfectly the changing light, the reflections and the contrasts between chalk cliff, sea and pebble. Such a stunning view… it always makes me gasp when I see for the first time each year.
The range of sizes and prices make it possible to have your very own reminder of a perfect summer's day walk by the sea.
Prices start £110.00
David Pantling has added new shapes to his range a large bowl and plate, they show his decoration perfectly and are very affordable. They come in both the bird design and the blue and cream pattern. We have also had delivery of his butter dishes and toast racks which are always popular as they make great presents.
Prices start £17.95
Amy Denton’s ceramic brooches cover a range of images birds, houses, trees and boats, they have the nostalgic feel of a museum collection. I think they could work for a man or woman and would look great on the lapel of a summer jacket.
Price £11.95
Connell and Hart’s glass earrings and pendants are sophisticated and simple. I like the combination of the teardrop shaped glass and the simplicity of the silver. The fab colour range means that you’re bound to find something to suit and the transparency of the glass gives it a lightness that makes it easy to wear summer jewellery.
Prices start £19.95
