Here comes summer....!

Summer has arrived.... hurrah! and we are in holiday mode come and visit our store to see a wide variety of maker's work, perfect for a wedding present or a souvenir of your fun time in Brighton.                                            Lots to choose from and all exclusive to Appendage.

New rucksacks and crossbody bags in a range of  zingy colours perfect for all your essentials as you wander through the North Laines, leaving your hands free for a yummy ice cream. Lots of new scarves... linens, maps and weaves essential  for your evening stroll on the seafront whilst giving that extra pizazz to your outfit!

Throughout the summer we will be adding new pieces to our current jewellery, ceramics and print ranges. There is a new colourway in our beautiful hand embroidered Frida Kahlo cushion and it's proving to be a big hit!

We have lots of seaside imagery to choose from, take home a memento of your visit to Brighton a reminder of happy days by the sea.

Festival Picks....!

The Festival is here again, there is so much to see and do in  Brighton this month that we thought we'd keep things simple. Here are our top picks to help you enjoy the Festival fun.

David's hand made Fox tableware is back in stock and makes afternoon tea a pleasure and gives you a chance to relax. The hand dyed elastic necklaces are stunning colours simple and elegant a show stopper. Spring time...!

After a tough last few weeks of winter, spring has finally sprung, so we're celebrating with new stock that will inspire you this season.

An embroidered lavender bag or printed tea towel make delightful souvenirs of Brighton. They're the perfect reminder of your Easter bank holiday weekend spent by the sea.

The British landscape is our theme for the new season. The colours of nature inform these beautifully woven blankets and hand made ceramics inspired by the Yorkshire dales. Natural imagery of flora and fauna cover everything from mugs and vases to lampshades and cushions.

This Easters, use these charming egg cups as containers for your chocolate treats, or pile them up on one of our tree themed chopping boards. Whatever you decide, relax and enjoy your bank holiday weekend spent with friends and family.

Get Inspired for Mother's Day !

New stock has arrived just in time to give you a bit of inspiration for Mother's Day. Make your gift this year something she'll use everyday but still looks great.

The tree designs on these place mats, cutting boards and coasters bring a bit of nature into the kitchen. Scarves are always a winner with Mums and Margo's silk weaves are extra special. The new colour range for these felt necklaces will jazz up any outfit.

Embroidered cushions will turn any house into a home and the zingy colours in the new range of hand towels will liven up the bathroom. New colours in our classic washed leather bags are just the ticket for the new season. Give a Little Love

Valentine's day is nearly upon us again. So take the opportunity to express your love and appreciation for your other half with a unique and creative gift.

We have plenty of new stock and a wide range of jewellery that might just do the trick!

Anna's mosaic hearts will say more than words ever could. Chris' Brighton prints serve as the perfect reminder of a romantic weekend by the sea. The salt and pepper shakers by Hannah come as either cats or birds and make for quirky couples.

As Christmas draws ever closer, we're busy filling up our shop with lots of new products, as well as some popular favourites.

Sarah's new prints of vintage household gadjets, such as record players and FM radios, are proving to be hugely popular. If there's anyone in your life who is nostalgic for a bygone era, then these are the perfect gift. The yellow leather bag is a fabulous and funky blast of colour, but there's lots of other option to choose from too.

We have a selection of new blankets by Paulette. They're available in a whole range of colours but the eye-popping pink is a particular favourite of ours!

The cheerful wool scarves by Lena use a delicate ladder knit and fringed stripe designs to create exciting texture, making them an essential addition to your winter woolies.

Karen's bird plaques are exquisitely detailed and her fabulous range of bird brooches and pendants are worth the trip to Appendage to take a look.

Peacocks, Foxes and Birds decorate out ceramics ranges by Hannah Turner and David Pantling. While Poppy's embroidered glasses cases are ideal as practical but charming presents.

Festival Picks...!

We're sure you are just as excited as we are about the Brighton and Fringe Festivals returning to the city this May. Just like the eclectic mix on offer in those festival programs, we've got a wealth of new pieces in Appendage for you to browse. Helen's London map silk scarves and Claire's bold graphic scarves are just the touch of luxury you need for your next evening out. Karen's large ceramic plaque shows her vivacious pen and ink style at its best.

Joanna's bird prints use strong images, and capture the colours of the seaside. I'm sure you'll find one of the local birds to where you live in her flock.

David's new range has bees buzzing through meadow flowers on his quirky ceramics.
